We have all grown up always thinking, what would it feel like to be king? Well, here’s your chance to be one! Colors has designed a special treat for television viewers and gaming enthusiasts. A 3D adventure-based shooter game called ‘Ashoka: The Game’ will give players an opportunity to step into the shoes of emperor Ashoka and fight off enemies and probable assassins before they can cause him any harm. It is developed by Vroovy, a joint venture between Hungama and Gameshastra.
A third-person direct play game, the game enables players to kill enemies who appear from behind obstructions with bows and arrows. The game, for the first-time-ever, introduces a diagonal side view where the enemies will be shown from Ashoka’s line of vision while highlighting his silhouette in the periphery as well. As players progressively march ahead through levels, the game will witness an increase in speed and difficulties. The use of powerups like cannonballs, multiple arrows, elephant brigade and shields will enable plays to move ahead through this endless tap-based game. Players will also be given opportunities to earn multiple achievements for using the powerups earning them titles including Archer, Bowhunter, Sword Martial, Trunk Bunk, Savior and Addict among others.
The game will be available for free download on Android and iOS in India. To enhance the overall gaming experience, medieval war and battle feel music has been added as the background score further amplified through death sounds and subtle war-based noises. Players will also get the opportunity to share their gaming experience through leadership board as well as social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
