‘The Day Henry Met…?’ season 4 to premiere on Nick Jr

The latest season of Wiggleywoo’s series, The Day Henry Met…? has just been completed and will premiere on Nick Jr in the UK and Ireland in January before going on to air on Nick Jr in 178 other countries.

Other broadcasters who will air Season 4 include RTE Jr, TV3 Catalunya in Spain, TVP in Poland, Ceska in the Czech Republic, Eesti in Estonia and Viaplay SVOD in Scandinavia.

Earlier seasons have recently been sold to Playkids, OCS, iDipper, TFOUMax, Azoomee and Kanopy, all for SVOD, and TV Azteca in Mexico.  The series airs on a range of Free TV channels including Milkshake! in the UK and Ireland, RAI in Italy, ABC in Australia, TVO, TFO and Knowledge in Canada and on many SVOD platforms.

Two new publishers, de Agostini in Italy and Agyra in Greece have signed up to publish a range of books based upon the series, Di Costa in Italy have created Henry Easter eggs with a gift inside and there will be a Henry promotion through kiosks in Italy organised by Teaser Lab. LMI has taken on the UK licensing and merchandising rights in the UK and 25 airlines are featuring the series in their in-flight entertainment.

The series is continuing to enjoy terrific ratings – e.g. in Italy, The Day Henry Met…? has ranked fifth among the most viewed programs on free children channels, with a 13.32 per cent share of viewers aged four to seven. The Day Henry Met…? performed similarly to Albero Azzurro and Peppa Pig and has also received a morning timeslot on RAI YoYo.

The series has been sold to 25 airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Delta,Emirates, Qantas Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, Norwegian Air, Cathay Pacific, KLM

Broadcasters board ‘The Day Henry Met…’ season three

Monster Entertainment has closed deals with a raft of broadcasters and SVOD companies for the recently completed season three of its hit series, The Day Henry Met…? Internationally, the new season is airing on Pay TV on Nickelodeon in 178 countries and is about to launch on the US Pay TV Service, Condista’s Spanish and English language service, Kids Central.

The new season has also been picked up by Free TV broadcasters including ABC Australia, TV3 Catalunya in Spain, RAI Italy, TVP in Poland, TVO and TFO in Canada and Eesti Estonia Digital rights have been picked up by Jetsen Huashi in China. Svensk in Scandinavia, Azoomee in the UK and TFOU Max in France. The series, which now runs to 4 seasons, each of 26 x 5’ premiered on RTE in Ireland and then on Nick Jr. in 178 countries prior to moving to Free TV and SVOD The Day Henry Met…? won the Pulcinella Award for Best European Work at Cartoons on the Bay in 2015. In March 2017, the series also won Best Animation at the Irish Film and Television Awards and is produced by Wiggleywoo in Ireland.

The Day Henry Met…? reaches 203K viewers with 53 per cent of viewers ages upto four. In Italy, the series is ranked fifth among the most viewed programmes on free children’s channels, with a 13.32 per cent share of viewers aged 4-7. It is the no.1 preschool series in Australia and, following the launch of its third season on Nick Jr Too in the UK, the series has topped the ratings there as well.

Season four of the series is in the production and due for completion in October.

Milkshake! to welcome preschool series, ‘The Day Henry Met…? ‘ in December

Channel 5’s Milkshake! will become the free-to-air home for Wiggleywoo’s preschool series, The Day Henry Met…? The animated show will have its premiere on the preschool block later this year, which is a commercial destination for kids between four to six years of age.

The series, which now runs to four seasons, each of 26 x 5’ premiered on RTE in Ireland and then on Nick Jr. in 178 countries prior to moving to Free TV and SVOD.

Free TV broadcasters already on board include RAI in Italy, ABC in Australia, SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland, TVO, TFO and Knowledge Network in Canada, TVP in Poland, Eesti in Estonia, LTV in Latvia and RUV in Iceland.

SVOD rights have been sold to Amazon, Svensk in Scandinavia, TF1 in France, Telefonica in Spain, BT in Great Britain, Jetsen Huashi in China, Horng En Culture in Taiwan among others. Commenting on the UK deal VIMN Kids VP of programming Louise Bucknole said, “We’re delighted to be welcoming The Day Henry Met…? to Milkshake!, which showcases the very best in British and Irish preschool content.”

The Day Henry Met…? is distributed internationally by Monster Entertainment. The series ranked fifth among the most viewed programmes on free children’s channels, with a 13.32 per cent share of viewers aged four to seven and has been sold to 20 airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Qantas Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, Norwegian Air and Cathay Pacific.

Monster Entertainment signs deals for season three of ‘The Day Henry Met…?’

The Day Henry Met…? being completed, Monster Entertainment have announced a number of new sales deals for the upcoming season and overall series.

Season three has been pre-sold to Nick Junior in 178 countries, RTE in Ireland, Jetsen Huashi for digital rights in China, ABC Australia for Free-to-Air rights, Eesti Estonia for free TV rights, TVP Poland for TV rights.

Season one and two of The Day Henry Met…? have been sold to BT and Virgin in the UK, Horng En Culture in Taiwan, Telefonica in Spain for SVOD rights and to TVP in Poland and LTV in Latvia for free TV.

New Frontier has taken publishing rights in Australia and New Zealand. The series is continuing to enjoy the ratings. In Italy, it has ranked fifth among the most viewed programs on free children channels with a 13.32 per cent share of viewers aged four to seven.

The series has been sold to 16 airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Qantas Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, Norwegian Air and Cathay Pacific.

Season four will make available 104 episodes adding to the now available ones and is scheduled for completion in July 2019. Henry will meet a new object in every episode. It would be exciting to see what new Henry meets every other day!
