Adult Swim has yet again revealed new episode information on April Fools, continuing its annual tradition. The company announced the return date for the long-awaited fourth season of Rick and MortyRick and Morty follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.

The popular adult animated sci-fi comedy is set to return 3 May with its second batch of five episodes on the nighttime programming block of Cartoon Network. The first half of season four wrapped up last December. The cable net revealed the date during a re-airing of the Rick and Morty samurai animae short, and also released a new trailer.

The first three seasons of the show will be available on HBO Max when WarnerMedia’s new streaming service launches in May. Hulu will continue to stream the show as well, with the latest seasons reaching both platforms five months after the season finale airs.
