Gearing up for Children’s Day 2022, Indian kids’ broadcasters are bringing exciting programs, interactive campaigns and other engaging and fun events. The youth-centric channels always come up with some new shows or novel events catering to the enthusiasm and happiness of the children.
Sony YAY! believes there are not one but many reasons to celebrate kids. This year the channel is ready to make Children’s Day a little extra special for its young fans by giving them a chance to indulge in fun activities, games, meet their favourite toons, watch never seen before episodes and win some exciting YAY! Goodies at KidZania. The exciting joy ride with Oggy and Honey Bunny will take place at KidZania Mumbai on 12 November and KidZania Delhi on 13 November.
To keep the cute, playful, naughty little kids engaged, ETV Bal Bharat will be launching a new show, The Enchanted Village of Pinocchio on 14 November at 10 am.
The kids’ channel will also showcase Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on this day. The synopsis reads: Imagine, the sky is raining down your favourite snacks! That’s exactly what happened in Swallow Falls, thanks to the clumsy scientist Flint. But little did he know that things are going to go horribly wrong when his machine starts developing food storms and threatens to bury the entire planet in huge piles of food! The planet must be saved and Flint must stop it!
ETV Bal Bharat also revealed that they conducted a drawing competition called Paintathon whose winners will be announced on 14 November on YouTube at 11 am and their (winners’) drawing will be shown on Facebook and Instagram after the announcement.
IN10 Media’s kid’s broadcast channel Gubbare celebrates its second anniversary on this special day. To mark the occasion, the channel ran a viewer engagement activity #GubbareBirthdayBashQuizContest to further enhance its affinity with its audience.
Gubbare quizzed the audience with simple trivia questions related to the key characters of the shows like Akul Nakul – The Asuras, Roro aur Hero – Bhoot Mast Zabardast, Vir The Robot Boy and Mighty Raju. The interesting contest started on 31 October and will continue till 13 November. Winners will be declared on 14 November on the channel and its social media handles.
There is good news for the winners of this super exciting campaign! Gubbare announced that the grand prize winner will get a Sony PlayStation 5, while an Apple Airpod will be handed over to the first runner up. Also two more winners will get Lenovo M8 Tab.
Cartoon Network will celebrate Children’s Day with back-to-back Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo and Teen Titans Go! Vs Teen Titans specials on 14 November at 5:30 pm.
Discovery Kids on the other hand will air episodes and specials from popular shows Kris: Roll no 21 from 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm and back-to-back Little Singham blockbusters starting from 9:30 am onwards and 5:15 pm onwards. The kids’ channel will also entertain its viewers with Fukrey Boyzzz blockbuster movie at 4:30 pm.
POGO’s Children’ Day celebration will include back-to-back episodes of Titoo – Har Jawaab Ka Sawaal Hu and movies like Titoo: Sangora Ka Dhindhora, Titoo: Ping Pong ki Circus and Titoo in Ocean Kingdom from 1:15 pm onwards.
