AMD Ryzen Skyesports Championship 3.0 ‘Valorant’ India playoffs to kickstart from today with $2,000 prize pool

The playoffs for India in the AMD Ryzen Skyesports Championship 3.0 Valorant will happen from 25September to 4October. After an intense open qualifier, only eight teams remain who will compete in the playoffs for the $2,000 prize pool and two spots to the main event. 

The eight teams that have made it to the Indian playoffs are: 

  • Velocity Gaming 
  • Only Friends 
  • Team Valor 
  • Team Punished 
  • TGS aXe 
  • Team XO 
  • Enigma Gaming 
  • NBD Esports

They will battle in an intense double-elimination bracket to decide the two teams that will compete in the main event for the AMD Ryzen Skyesports Championship 3.0 Valorant. The main event will feature eight teams from across South Asia. 

All matches will be livestreamed on the Skyesports YouTube and Facebook Gaming channels. 

Here is the bracket and schedule for the India playoffs.

The third-placed team will make it to the Wildcard Qualifier, where they will have one more chance at making it to the main event. The Wildcard Qualifier will take place from 5October to 7 October with four teams competing for the final berth at the main event. 

The Skyesports Championship 3.0 Valorant has a total prize pool of Rs. 22,00,000. It featured open-for-all qualifiers leading to regional playoffs for India; Pakistan; Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan; and Bangladesh and

Maldives. Finally, eight teams from these regions will advance to compete in the main event from 8 October to 23 October where a champion will be crowned. 

The award ceremony for the Skyesports Championship 3.0 will take place as an offline event in Mumbai on 25October. 

The Skyesports Championship 3.0 is presented by AMD Ryzen. Logitech G is the gaming partner while WD Black is the storage partner. Croma is the gaming retail partner and the regional streams are exclusively supported by Facebook.
