The Netflix Geeked Week 2022 unveiled the curtain from one of the alien characters from Zack Snyder’s upcoming sci-fi adventure film Rebel Moon. The character with two horns seen standing amidst thick smoke, has created a stir among the fans of Snyder who is known for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and so on.
However, apart from the first look, nothing more has been shared about the character. The very first glimpse promises some amazing works of visual effects.
The official synopsis reads: When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.
Rebel Moon is the first feature to fall under the partnership between The Stone Quarry Productions, a production company founded by Zack and Deborah Snyder and their producing partner Wesley Coller, and Netflix.
Michiel Huisman (The Flight Attendant, The Haunting of Hill House, Game of Thrones), Cary Elwes (Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, Mission: Impossible 7, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Alfonso Herrera (Ozark, Sense8), and Corey Stoll (Billions, The Many Saints of Newark, West Side Story) are among the cast list for Snyder’s adventure film. Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Alita: Battle Angel), Fra Fee (Hawkeye, Les Misérables), Rhian Rhees (Halloween, Confession of a Child of the Century) and Cleopatra Coleman (Dopesick, In the Shadow of the Moon) have also joined them.
Along with Snyder, Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad are on board as writers. Eric Newman from Grand Electric is another producer. Bergen Swanson, Sarah Bowen from Grand Electric, Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad serve as the executive producers.
