Marvel’s ‘X-Men ’97’ to get its first look at SDCC on 22 July

At Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) animation panel, the first look from the upcoming X-Men ’97 series, the sequel to X-Men: The Animated Series, will be revealed.

X-Men ’97 will be among Marvel’s showings at its 90-minute panel on 22 July, as announced in an official SDCC event listing. Along with the first look at the show, there will be teasers for other animated Marvel Studios projects, such as a sneak peek at What If… ? and an exclusive look at What If…? spinoff series Marvel Zombies.

At Disney+ Day in 2021, X-Men ’97 got an announcement and a 2023 release window. Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Adrian Hough, Christopher Britton, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alison Sealy-Smith, and Alyson Court are a few of the voice actors that will return for the series. The majority of the actors will return to their old roles, but Court will take on a new role to make way for an Asian voice actor to portray Jubilee.

The new show is expected to continue where X-Men: The Animated Series‘ fifth season left off. Like most of the TV shows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, X-Men ’97 will only be available on Disney+, although head writer Beau DeMayo has been secretive about whether or not it will exist alongside Moon Knight and Loki.
