Marvel Comics’ ‘Invincible Iron Man’ #1 to launch in December, trailer released

A new era of Iron Man comics is being celebrated in a trailer revealed by Marvel Comics. New writers and artists for The Armored Avenger are X-Men’s Gerry Duggan and Juan Frigeri. Together, they are relaunching The Invincible Iron Man, which will include both old and new foes like the X-Men villain Feilong and well-known ones like Living Laser.

Feilong, who appears in the pages of Duggan and Pepe Larraz’s X-Men (2021) and is comparable to Iron Man in intelligence, power, and fortune, will be one of the antagonists after Tony. The aggressively ambitious genius who has a grudge against mutantkind is switching targets and has every intention of attacking Tony. In order to defeat him, Tony will have to seek out fresh allies, adopt audacious ideas, and make shocking decisions that will have an impact on the Avengers and mutantkind as well as the larger Marvel Universe.

Marvel will kickstart Iron Man’s 60th anniversary in 2023.The trailer for December’s Invincible Iron Man #1 features previously unseen Frigeri art as well as Tony Stark plunging to his lowest point. Captain America, Ironheart, Emma Frost, War Machine and She-Hulk will make an appearance in the comic.
