Manga ‘Solo Leveling’ to get spin-off webcomic ‘Solo Leveling: Ragnarok’ this April

The original author of popular webtoon Solo Leveling will release a new story named Solo Leveling: Ragnarok on 10 April. This spin-off will centre on Sung Jin-Woo’s son, Sung Jin-Ho. After 179 episodes, the original webtoon came to an end in December 2021. The new story was announced on KakaoPage’s official YouTube channel.

The supernatural hunter and fantasy action series Solo Leveling has achieved enormous success both in Korea and overseas. A-1 Pictures is also preparing to adapt the webcomic into an anime, which is expected to debut in January during the Winter 2024 season.

Written by Chugong, Solo Leveling is illustrated by Dubu who sadly passed away last year after the conclusion of the webtoon. A group of artists also started publishing a Solo Leveling side story in January to honour him. After Chugong’s passing away, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok will be the first first expansion in the franchise.

Launching in April, the special epilogue chapters of the webtoon are available to read on Tappytoon and Tapas.
