WarnerMedia’s recently released mini-movie Thomas & Friends: Race for the Sodor Cup on Cartoon Network’s Cartoonito is an action packed thrill that is a perfect holiday watch for kids. The show has a collection of new songs, fun characters and train-racing sequences.
Super-fast Kana is convinced that her speed is all she needs to win the Race for the Sodor Cup, a competition that draws engines from all over the world. However, when a racing practice gone wrong causes her partner, Kenji, to get hurt, Kana ends up paired with Thomas. Kana and Thomas will discover that it takes teamwork to become the best racers they can be, but is it enough to defeat the international champions and win the Sodor Cup?
The show has been directed by Campbell Bryer and Jason Groh. The animated special has been produced by Mattel Television.
Peter Gaffney and Rick Suvalle serve as the writers of the show.
The voice cast includes Meesha Contreras as Thomas, Neil Crone as Gordon, Glee Dango as Sandy, Cory Doran as Cranky and so on.
The one-hour animated special Thomas & Friends: Race for the Sodor Cup premiered on 27 December.
