Trivandrum based Toonz Animation India has become the largest Toon Boom Harmony installation in India.
With the production of several in-house projects in the wings, Toonz is geared to explore Harmony’s wide array of capabilities to create traditional and cutout animation in a fully integrated production pipeline. The advent of this animation solution will help create highest quality animation cost-effectively, as it consumes less time, requires less manpower and exacts more consistency.
“To further our level of efficiency and bring our quality standards even higher, we decided to install Toon Boom Harmony throughout our studio” said P. Jayakumar, Chief Executive Officer at Toonz Animation India.
Harmony is Canadian software, which is most effectual in the automation of the less traditional advanced cut – out animation. Its superior toolset helps meet digital animation
production needs. Contrary to the traditional animation, more popularly known as the cel animation, all the processes between animation and output in this new system of animation is digital. Here the characters are drawn in the initial stage, even before animation is carried out, and is later animated, special effects added and rendered.
