SAYVID Studio, Hyderabad working on feature D.O.T.S. (Devotees of the Swami)

‘SAYVID Studio‘ at Hyderabad founded late last year by Suresh Kovvuri is developing a 90 minute 2D animation film called D.O.T.S. (Devotees of the Swami). The film is going to be released theatrically in Southern Indian and other some other parts of the country.

Suresh Kovvuri, Founder, SAYVID Studio who has been in the animation field for the past 11 years speaking to AnimationXpress.com says, “Right now we are working on D.O.T.S. and it‘s in pre production stage. We are planning to release it next summer”.

Suresh Kovvuri is also the founder of Creative Mentor, an animation training academy established in 2007 and it supports the SAYVID studio to develop professional manpower by its high end training.

Currently, 12 people are working on D.O.T.S. to develop characters, sets and BGs for the film. The story is written by Suresh Kovvuri who is also directing the feature film. The film is produced by LMR Mudunuri a Hyderabad based realtor who is also producing one more Telugu movie. The film is produced under the banner of Green Apple Movies.

The film is a co-production between SAYVID Studio and Green Apple Movies and the IP is owned by both. This film is about 4 young dwarfs, who were living with their families in the forests of Kerala about 500 years ago. They got motivated from the Lord Ayyappa‘s birth story and resolve their conflicts and save their families. According to Suresh D.O.T.S. is devotional as well as a fantasy movie. So they are not targeting kids alone.

The new studio logo for SAYVID Studio as well as Greeen Apple Movies was launched at an event in Hyderabad recently along with announcement of D.O.T.S. Movie poster was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh former Chief Minister Sri Konijeti Rosaiah and the logos of the both companies i.e. SAYVID Studio & Green Apple Movies was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Sri Ponnala Lakshmalah and also other guests from the film industry attended the event.
