‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ anime reveals voice cast, show to premiere in 2023

Mashle: Magic and Muscles might sound absurd, but the story’s success is actually extremely true. Since the shonen manga has gained cult status among readers, fans have been demanding for an anime adaptation. Their requests will eventually be fulfilled because Mashle is about to premiere on television and a new trailer has just been released featuring its voice cast.

The voice cast of Mashle: Magic and Muscles include Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames, Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown, Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett and Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine.

Mashle is currently expected to launch in 2023, however no specific release date has been disclosed. The production will be handled by A-1 Pictures, which is known for Fairy Tail and Sword Art Online and the anime will be directed by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners assistant director Tomoya Tanaka

As far as the original manga is concerned, it is being serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Each week, Viz Media makes the English version available digitally on the Shonen Jump app and in printed collected volumes.

Viz Media describes the manga as: In the magic realm, magic is everything—everyone can use it, and one’s social status is determined by their skill level. Deep in the forest, oblivious to the ways of the world, lives Mash. Thanks to his daily training, he’s become a fitness god, but he harbours a secret that could turn his life upside down—he can’t use magic! When he’s found out, rather than his life being over, he’s unexpectedly enrolled in magic school, where he must beat the competition!
