James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Ways of Water’ gives a visual treat to the fans in its first teaser trailer

After 13 years of the release of the first part, the fans of Avatar will finally get a glimpse of the most awaited sequel, Avatar: The Ways of Water, directed by James Cameron right before the screening of Marvel’s Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. We got the chance to witness the visually spectacular trailer during the press screening and it was definitely worth the wait!

Even though not much is revealed in this teaser trailer, there are key details to take away from it. With Avatar being a path breaker in the visual effects field when it was released, the sequel has surely taken a leap forward. James Cameron has possibly taken the 3D revolution ahead, as the trailer had some eye popping visuals and one might actually think that the visuals are real.

As the name of the movie suggests, the world of Pandora is shot majorly in water, and although all of it is CGI, the surreal realism that is projected through the use of technology is commendable. There’s a great amount of detail that has gone into the character and environment design. The creators have given a first look into Jake Sully’s family where his kids can be seen. We hear Sully saying, “I know one thing. Wherever we go, this family is our fortress.”

The movie starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Kate Winslet, Stephen Lang, Michelle Yeoh and others is slated to release on 16 December 2022.

Make sure you reach the theatres early to catch a glimpse of this fascinating world on the big screen right before yet another mind-boggling film, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.
