Adult Swim reveals a new exciting lineup at San Diego Comic-Con

Adult Swim pleased fans with various in-depth panels on series including Smiling Friends, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, Tuca and Bertie and also exclusive screening of the new Rick and Morty digital spin-off Vindicators 2.

Rick and Morty fans got a special treat with an exclusive debut of the new digital spin-off series Vindicators 2, featuring insights from executive producer Sarah Carbiener and Rick and Morty producer/writer Nick Rutherford. Following the digital series’ exclusive debut at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, 22 July, 10 episodes are now available to view on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel.

According to Animation Magazine reports, Vindicators 2 follows the adventures of your old pals Supernova, Vance Maximus, Alan Rails, Million Ants, Crocubot and Noob Noob alongside their comrades Lady Katana, Diablo Verde and Calypso (RIP). Together the group will learn the truth behind the team’s epic battle with Doomnomitron.

Following Aquadonk Side Pieces and Alabama Jackson, Vindicators 2 is the third of four digital short series available on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel. The series is executive produced by Erica Rosbe, Sarah Carbiener, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland.

The day after its season two double-episode premiere on Adult Swim, animation legend Genndy Tartakovsky also wowed fans on Friday with an in-depth panel on the Emmy Award-winning series Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal.

Followed by a Smiling Friends creators Michael Cusak and Zach Hadel, the duo continued to showcase their creative process by illustrating new characters and scenarios on the spot, while fielding questions from the audience.

Adult Swim wrapped up its panel programming on Saturday to celebrate the return of Tuca & Bertie with a star-studded panel including Tiffany Haddish (Tuca), alongside Nicole Beyer (Gamby) and Sasheer Zamata (Kara), and creator and executive producer Lisa Hanawalt. Moderated by Entertainment Weekly executive TV editor Gerrad Hall, the hilarious panel also included a surprise video message from Ali Wong (Bertie).
