Prasad EFX has delivered VFX & DI for Ring Master, the latest Malayalam hit by Director Rafi, cinematographed by DoP Shaji, produced by Vaishak Rajan, starring Dileep. The project planning, resources planning, execution and internal supervision was implemented by Kamal Kannan VFX Producer for Prasad EFX.
The scope of work included 3D Models, animations, and 3D-tracking and compositing sequences. The Dog sequence is a must see, involving some of the most complicated 3D shots & modeling.
“Our work in Ring Master has been highly appreciated by the film industry professionals. The Dog song & Dog fight sequence has been receiving applause from the audience. The technical contribution and the reference given by the Director Rafi were of great help in this mega project. Our onsite visual effects supervisor Sri Rengaraj did an appreciable job in the VFX shots” Says Hima Kumar – Vice President, Production (VFX & DI), Prasad EFX.
“The team of 35 who worked on this project, led by Raja, Line Producer had put in lot of very hard work and spent a lot of time on R&D to get everything perfectly right. Over 366 high end and complicated shots which included 115 Dog Animation shots of over 60 minutes duration were executed by the team at Prasad. It took us 5 months to complete this project in our Chennai facilities,” concludes Hima.
