The synopsis for The Matrix Resurrections throws some more light on the plot of the upcoming film, including that this new version of The Matrix will be “stronger, safer and more dangerous than ever.”
The synopsis was initially shared on the WB rewards page, where he features a “For Your Consideration” section for the cast and crew of Matrix Resurrections in preparation for the upcoming awards season.
“In a world of two realities, everyday life and what lies behind, Thomas Anderson will have to choose to follow the White Rabbit once more. Choice, although an illusion, remains the only way in or out. of the Matrix, which is stronger, safer and more dangerous than ever,” the synopsis read.
The Matrix Resurrections is expected to hit theaters and on HBO Max on 22 December 2021, and the first trailer released for the fourth Matrix movie last month following a promotional website that featured 180,000 possible teaser videos for the film composed of various clips sewn together.
Neo and Trinity were still alive and we are looking forward to some fantastic action sequences buttressed by some world-class VFX as they franchise is known for.
The VFX are made by BUF, Compuhire, DNEG (VFX Supervisor: Huw J. Evans, Aharon Bourland), Framestore, One of Us, RISE (VFX Supervisor: Andreas Giesen),Turncoat Pictures (VFX Supervisor: Ryan Urban) and Volucap.
