DNEG Animation announced that they will be attending Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU)’s 2022 Career Camp event. Held between 8 to 10 March this year, THU’s Career Camp is an intensive, 72-hour bootcamp of non-stop networking and inspiration, open to all artists and creators in the digital entertainment industry.
Company’s training, outreach and artistic development VP Kara Oropallo will be joining senior talent acquisition specialist, Bridget Dash and visual development artist Jenny Harder to participate in the event and recruit for roles on our DNEG Animation team.
“I am thrilled that DNEG Animation will take part in this year’s THU Career Camp! We are always looking for ways to connect with the next generation of talent but rarely do we have the opportunity to do so in such a meaningful way. THU is so good at creating intentional and intimate places (even virtually!) to connect,” Oropallo said.
The event boasts three days of career development workshops and networking opportunities, including:
- Recruitment Sessions
- Mentorship and Portfolio Reviews
- Career Development Sessions
- Technical Tracks, Tribe Talks and more
“Following our team’s involvement in THU’s Sony Talent League last year, we were thrilled to once again team up with THU to support emerging talent in our industry. In addition to interviewing for junior positions at DNEG Animation, our team will be hosting talks and mentorship sessions throughout the event,” DNEG said in a statement.
