New Delhi based RSG group’s retail division, RSG Retails India Pvt. Ltd. which is a Premium Reseller for Apple inaugurated an exclusive retail outlet ‘imagine’ for Apple products at Atria Mall, Mumbai on 3 August 2006.
Available at imagine is the entire range of Apple products and technology including accessories. Imagine will also function as a service centre for apple customers.
On the setting up of imagine, RSG India MD Rupesh Pandey shared with Animation xpress.com, “We wanted to set up imagine in such a place where one would find people from different walks of life, hence we chose Atria. As we are not targeting a particular group, we want everyone to experience the products and the retail experience here.”
On the animation software and technology that will be available at imagine, Rupesh told Animation xpress.com, “We have Shake which is used for compositing available with us”
This is the first outlet to have opened in Mumbai.
Sharing the group’s future plans, RSG retail head Pankaj Kapoor said, “Plans are on to open another outlet at Inorbit mall, Malad the inauguration of which we have planned to coincide with the Auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi Festival. Our ultimate goal is to set up twenty such Apple Stores in India with around 5 to 6 stores in Mumbai alone”
RSG will also hold training sessions at ‘imagine’ for people from different professions such as photographers, musicians to name a few with demonstrations of Apple products. These sessions are proposed to be conducted on a daily basis.
Imagine has been set up as per the specifications given by Apple and aims to give the customers a completely unique digital experience.
RSG group consists of four companies of which RSG Infotech is into Sales and Services of Apple Products providing industry related technical support and also runs the only Apple Authorized Training Centre in Mumbai.
