The Directorate of Film Festivals – Information & Broadcasting Ministry, has selected Kireet Khurana, Animation film maker and Creative Head of one of Mumbai’s leading animation studios, 2nz Animation Co., as a jury member for the prestigious National Film Awards. These awards are conferred by the President of India.
Kireet himself has won 5 President’s National Awards and 3 International Awards besides other awards. He has also served as jury member for the Mumbai International Film Festival (the 3rd largest Documentary and Short Film Festival worldwide) and 24 FPS, earlier this year.
Speaking to Animation Xpress.com, Kireet shared “It’s a big honour for me and a personal milestone to be associated with the highest awards in the country”
After the success of their earlier award winning series, Adventures of Chhota Birbal, 2nz is presently working on it’s next long format animation series, Trikaya, which is due for release in the summer of 2007.
