Kids who love to tell stories are now going to get a nation wide platform to show their skill sets. ZeeQ is bringing a pan India inter-school storytelling event called as ‘Kahaani Express’.
The opportunity will be available to kids from standard two to seven in over 200 schools across 10 cities. The aim of Kahaani Express is to reach out to over 90,000 students within three months.
The school contact programme has been designed for both primary and secondary students. It will include an expert story teller who will conduct the storytelling session alongside specially designed picture panels, story development techniques with props along with workshops under the guidance of facilitators.
Every participating school gets a memento on behalf of the channel. Speaking on the occasion, ZeeQ deputy business head Aparna Bhosle said, “Storytelling is a great way to connect. It’s a platform through which a child can emote and evoke thoughts besides being fun, it enthuses, both the teller and listener. ZeeQ’s objective has always been to provide Mindfull-Masti and Kahaani Express is another step forward in this endeavor. Through Kahaani Express, we aim at nurturing this amazing quality of storytelling in children at an age when their minds are highly impressionable.”
A pan India marketing campaign will focus on mediums such as on-air, digital and on-ground. A story writing competition is being contested on-air as well as online to give other kids an opportunity to show their creativity.
