YouTube’s top watched gaming videos and games revealed

The year 2015 is about to end and the year-ender lists will start rolling out from various ends soon. One such from YouTube features the top games and top game videos viewed this year.

The Top Games are based on the views and amount of the time the game videos are being watched by the gamers. Top 5 in the list feature the new Activision installment Call of Duty Black Ops III, EA’s FIFA 16, the horror survival Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, ARK: Survival Evolved and Agar.io.

The list is based on views, shares, comments and likes (among other things). Liam Neeson featured Super Bowl ad Clash of Clans: Revenge tops the list garnering 84.3 million views. Along with it, the real world homage to Grand Theft Auto – Real GTA and the highly-anticipated reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront.

Along with this data, YouTube also released more user centric data noting that 30 per cent of gamers (those who watch gaming videos on YouTube at least once a month) on YouTube are women. A third of gamers on YouTube are older than 35. And 47 per cent of the YouTube gamers are now parents.
