Twentieth Century Fox dropped a teaser poster for its upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix, as a precursor to the highly anticipated official trailer which is set to arrive tomorrow night.
In a strikingly flamboyant yet psychedelic appearance, the poster is loaded with all the primary mutants of the film, but the cynosure is a fiery Jean Grey being ripped apart by an emerging Phoenix Force.
On the top two horns of the letter ‘x’ are the warring factions, with Magneto and Professor X particularly eye-grabbing.
Also featuring on the cover are renowned mutants such as Cyclops, Beast, Storm, Nightcrawler, Mystique and Quicksilver, alongside newcomers Red Lotus and Selene.
A twelfth installment of the X-Men movie series, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is a sequel to the 2016 hit Apocalypse, and is set nearly a decade after its events, when a rescue mission mishap unleashes the mystic phoenix hiding within Grey.
What’s more, fans can now look forward to the trailer too as it is set to drop tomorrow and is rumored to clock in at two minutes and 24 seconds.
Written and directed by Simon Kinberg, X-Men: Dark Phoenix unleashes in cinemas on 7 June 2019.
