The adorable, innocent and the one with amazing wit, Po is back and this time he is out on a mission to not just destroy his enemy but also to rediscover himself. Rediscovering oneself has never been easy but when Po’s there, it’s bound to be a fun-filled journey. Join Po, the Kung Fu master on his adventurous trip in the recently released Kung Fu Panda 3’s third trailer.
‘Justice is about to be served!’ But not without a little extra sauce on the side 😉 And that’s how the trailer starts off by remaining true to its franchise roots. Master Shifu can be seen enlightening Po and telling him to explore beyond his limits by saying, ‘If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now’. This message isn’t just limited to Po but it extends to all of us as this is what drives a person to reach out into their untapped potential.
As the trailer progresses with some beautifully animated visuals, we can see Po who till now has never encountered any Panda, comes across his biological father ‘Li Shan’ and from there his life changing journey begins. From being the only Panda in the village to meeting a whole bunch of Pandas, Po finally discovers what is it to be a true Panda.
In the first trailer we saw the introduction of Li Shan and in the second one, Po was told by Master Shifu that he now needs to become a teacher. At the same time, we were introduced to the Panda Paradise village, the evil spirit Kai and in this new trailer, the great Master Oogway makes his way where he can be seen forewarning Po that he must save the day from none other than the one who used to work with him, Kai.
The peppy Wild Ones song by Flo Rida feat. Sia that plays in the background and the comic timing, makes one want to watch the trailer again and again. Right from the eggs popping scene to the war layout, till the unveiling of Master Flying Rhino’s battle armor; the trailer is packed with punchy dialogues, visually captivating scenes and quick-witted comebacks.
Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni, this 3D computer-animated action packed movie is a DreamWorks Animation project (with most of the work being executed in the Oriental DreamWorks Animation outfit) and is distributed by 20th Century Fox. Catch the flying Po in theatres this January.
