Warner Bros releases a behind the scenes footage of ‘Aquaman’

As the release date of Aquaman is approaching, Warner Bros recently dropped a BTS footage, leaving no stones unturned in stirring up a hype around the movie.

Although the movie won’t be as gritty and dark as some may have expected, it does delve into the origins of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and his relationship with Mera as the pair set off to find his trident.

Even though the video clip contains many scenes that we have previously been treated to, it expounds on action and humour part of it in a much more detailed manner with chrome screens and insights into the technical aspect of the movie including the set designs. Especially the way the aquatic and destruction scenes are filmed offer a distinct window into the effort that has gone into creating the magic in the movie.

“I want our film to be a little bit different, a bit more unique. My movie plays more like science fiction fantasy film than a traditional superhero movie,” director James Wan told San Diego Comic-Con attendees.

The action-packed adventure that spans the underwater world of seven seas also depicts Arthur suited up in the gold and green uniform that he dons in the comics, as well as many other characters from the animated series and movies at the end of the movie trailer.

The featurette offered plenty of meat on the bones of the VFX aspect also and we can’t wait till Aquaman rolls up on the big screens on 31 December 2018.
