NeatherRealm developed Mortal Kombat X in April last year have announced that it was releasing a Mortal Kombat XL edition which will contain all of its downloadable content such as new characters, movesets, skins packs among other things.
This special edition will be available from 1 March and will not be heading to Windows PC. According to the announcement XL edition is only making way on PS4 and Xbox One along with the new DLC Kombat C Pack 2. A tweet from NeatherRealm confirms the same. NetherRealm community specialist Tyler Lansdown repeated the message on the Test Your Might forum.

The data site Steam Spy, which tracks sales on Steam said the game had completed 500,000 downloads on the platform, and the game was ninth best selling game last year according to NPD. Warner Bros, the game’s publisher off lately have been in middle of the PC games trouble with Arkham Knight game receiving a lot of flak for its sloppy PC port. But it’s still hard to digest why a publisher like Warner Bros would not want to include PC in its scheme of things and make something console exclusive.
