Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA has announced the Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA Golden Bunny Awards. The awards, which were launched last year, celebrate and recognise the heroes of the WBCP EMEA licensing business world for their outstanding contribution to product, retail and commercial excellence over the last 12 months.
The winners of the coveted Golden Bunnies will accept their awards at a reception on the WBCP EMEA stand at Brand Licensing Europe 2014. Last year’s winners included LEGO, Rubie’s Costume Co., Nestle Waters, Character Group, Eaglemoss, Dexxon, LIDL, Inditex/Bershka, H&M, Benetton, George@Asda and Primark.
It has been another outstanding year for the WBCP business across EMEA, with innovative and successful product lines reaching many different areas of retail. Pilar Zulueta, EVP and GM, Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA said: “These Awards are an opportunity to shine the light on a selection of partners whose work with us has been particularly outstanding over the last year. It’s also the chance for us to say a mighty thank you to our partners without who fans couldn’t enjoy their favourite brands and characters at retail.”
For the moment the Bunnies are under wraps but the winners will be announced during BLE 2014 (7-9 October) where they will be presented with their engraved Golden Bunny statuette, a glittering silhouette of the beloved icon Bugs Bunny.
