Pioneer in user-owned digital identity Unstoppable Domains alongside world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS), announced a global virtual hackathon for Web3 developers. Hosted on Devpost.com, the event offers a $190,000 prize pool designed to inspire the integration of AWS cutting-edge cloud services with blockchain technology.
This hackathon is set to harness the collaborative power of AWS’s cloud computing capabilities and Unstoppable Domains’ blockchain-based digital identity solutions. The focus is on encouraging developers to create innovative web3 and AI applications that leverage the blockchain’s security and transparency, while exploring the potential of Web3 digital identity. Participants building novel applications can access AWS’s cloud services and Unstoppable Domains’ APIs, including the Resolution and Partner APIs.

The event will highlight the integration of AWS’s artificial intelligence stack, UD resolution API, and UD partner API to enhance the utility of Web3 domains and AWS cloud services.
The prize distribution includes a mix of UD credits and AWS activate credits, ensuring winners have access to premium resources to further their projects. These projects and awards are based on three tracks: AI driven tooling, resolution and user experience, and Digital Identity.
For each track, the following will be awarded for each track.
- 1st Place: $18,000 in UD Credits, Featured spot in UD Marketplace, $10,000 in AWS Activate credits
- 2nd Place: $10,000 in UD Credits, Featured spot in UD Marketplace, $5,000 in AWS Activate credits
- 3rd Place: $6,000 in UD Credits, Featured spot in UD Marketplace, $5,000 in AWS Activate credits
Every participating team that meets the hackathon criteria will receive $1,000 in UD credits to those that qualify for the AWS Activate Founder’s credit package and a listing in the UD Marketplace to fuel their innovative efforts.
To ensure a diverse and expert panel, the hackathon will be judged by thought leaders from Unstoppable Domains and AWS, covering a wide range of AI, blockchain, and cloud computing expertise. Additionally, the event will feature virtual workshops providing technical insights and Q&A sessions to support developers throughout the hackathon.
