The Yard VFX announced the appointment of Ben Owen as the new studio manager for its recently launched London office. With over 15 years of experience in the VFX industry, Owen has worked at multinational studios such as Framestore, MPC, DNEG, and One of Us.

The Yard is a French company founded in 2014 by Laurens Ehrmann and specialising in film and series digital special effects services for cinema and streaming platforms. In his new role, Owen will work closely with The Yard’s management team, composed of seasoned professionals with experience in international productions. Together, they will ensure that the London studio upholds The Yard’s commitment to delivering quality visual effects while continuing to attract major international projects, along with top-tier talent, all within a human-scale working environment.
