The Critics Choice Association (CCA) recently announced their 26th annual Critics Choice Awards in a hybridised event telecast live on The CW.
Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros.’ Tenet’s which had a little over 300 VFX shots bagged the honors for Best Visual Effects.
Official synopsis of the movie :–
A secret agent is given a single word as his weapon and sent to prevent the onset of World War III. He must travel through time and bend the laws of nature in order to be successful in his mission.
Tenet stars John David Washington, Kenneth Branagh, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kapadia and Michael Caine. Washington’s character, named The Protagonist, is given the responsibility of saving the world from World War III, and it is not Armageddon the world is facing, we are told, but something worse – a concept called inversion, a sort of communication with the future.

While Nolan is mainly known for his aversion to too much effects work and his insistence on practical effects, the movie still packed a combination of emerging visual effects techniques ranging from in-camera visual effects (virtual production), destruction effects, time bending sequences and car crashes.
A substantial amount of movie was not just shot in Mumbai but also worked on in the DNEG office by the Indian artists.
The movie is available to watch in the theatres.
