Global technology brand Techno is organising an Avatar Making competition in collaboration with IIT-Delhi (IIT-D).
It is a nationwide graphic design-centric contest which is held between 17 and 27 March to identify and recognise creative and innovative talents in India. The competition is open for students from 800 esteemed colleges and universities across the country. The association is a part of the brand’s youth-connect program that aims to identify and inspire young minds and give them a platform to showcase their talents and skills in front of the public.
The competition – which is an extension of IIT-D’s annual cultural fest Rendezvous 2023 – will witness participants creating gaming characters that represent the characteristics that are incorporated in the Pova mobile series powered by Techno. The entries for the same are required to be submitted at the unstop portal by 27 March 2023 as a GB box design.
The winning avatar art will feature on the packaging of the upcoming Pova series’ limited gaming edition smartphones. The top three entries will win exciting prizes from the tech company.
Techno Mobile CEO Arijeet Talapatra said, “We have always centred our activities around Zillenials to create a great experience for them. The Avatar Making Competition under our Youth-connect program is a one-of-its-kind competition that would enable the students to explore the unexplored possibilities with their flair for creativity. With this competition, we aim to encourage the youth to break free from their monotonous schedule and realise their inner capabilities of creating a larger-than-life artwork. Our partnership with IIT-D creates a unique experiential platform to engage with our consumers at an emotional level. We are looking forward to a positive response from the students and are eager to have a closer look at their innovative thinking.”
Techno recently associated with Skyesports to organise a year-long mobile gaming extravaganza named, CODM Pova Cup.
