If you were a kid from the ’90s era, then this piece of news is certainly going to bring back some fond memories of when you used to either rush back from school or miss out on completing your home-work just to catch the radical squadron on probably the only channel (then) that had some great animated content in the country.
Yes, you guessed it right! Chance “T-Bone” Furlong and Jake “Razor” Clawson are planning to make a ‘revolutionary’ comeback to protect and serve as saviors of Megakat City. The Tremblay Bros Studios, who worked along with Hanna-Barbera to create this super cool animated series back then have commenced a Kickstarter campaign and reaching out to fans of the series to help them bring back the radical duo in a whole new series called ‘SWAT-Kats Revolution’.
Synopsis of the campaign:-
As creators/producers, we have been in business in Hollywood for more than 25 years. We have independently collaborated with most of the Major Hollywood Studios, and we have created more than 5 series that have been produced and broadcasted all around the world along with countless development deals all around Hollywood.
We are currently involved with major worldwide brands on new productions.
We have all the necessary resources to bring the new development of the SWAT-Kats series to great results, and we will be working with some of the original team members of the TV series.
This new development, which will be done from your pledges, will provide all the necessary material to bring on board key partners (broadcasters, co-producers, financiers, etc.) for the production of the new television series.
Throughout the entire process, we endeavor to keep you all exclusively updated on all upcoming development.

Background:-
The two characters T-Bone and Razor had an instant fan following among young boys aged between 6-12 years, to the extent they even role played these two characters in their backyard fights ‘to protect Megakat City’ from evil.
SWAT-Kats became the number one syndicated animated show of 1994, according to Nielsen Television Index (NTI) and Nielsen Syndication Service (NSS). Hanna Barbera Productions also stated this in a SWAT-Kats Poster ad that they were going to release new episodes, posters, and other works in 1995. The show was canceled with three unfinished episodes. Hanna-Barbera ended its syndication block The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera to focus mostly on producing original content for Cartoon Network, there on.
Swat Kats should make a comeback because… The theme music still finds place in the form of multiple phone ringtones and is still remembered for its high-octane adrenaline-pumping action. Kids’ nowadays would still love the amazing storylines and ominous villains that feature in the series. But above all the camaraderie between T-Bone and Razor is something worth re-telling.
