‘Stuart Little’ reboot on the cards for 2018

stuartThe cuteness personified  little talking mouse whose chirpiness made every family think about adopting it, is now on its way to be remade.; yet again. Yes, Stuart is on his way back to make you laugh and give away ‘Aww’ moments. After his Ten year (terribly missed) absence, Sony and Red Wagon Entertainment finally are all ready to lay Stuart’s magical spell on all his fans, once more.

News of the remake comes from Tracking Board as they claim that this new Stuart Little will follow in the footsteps of the 1999 original. It will blend CG animation with live action. It will also once again follow the biplane flying mouse and his adoptive family The Littles. The remake will be more based on the adaptation of E.B. White’s (Charlotte’s Web) 1945 children’s book of the same name.

Stuart’s first movie that released in 1999 managed to successfully garner a whooping $300 million at the box office and was a major hit. The second movie that released in 2002, three years after the former managed to collect $169 million and the third part, Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild was directly released on home video and was noteworthy for being completely animated. Stuart’s voice was none other than of Michael J. Fox who made the character live in our memories forever. The then very popular Jonathan Lipnicki played Stuart’s best friend and elder brother.

Thought the dates haven’t been officially decided, it is speculated that the movie is set to release in 2018.
