Steamroller Animation announces new CEO and new CCO

Steamroller Animation, a Mount Dora-based animation studio, announced the promotion of Aaron Gilman as CEO of the growing studio. For the past year, Gilman has served as chief creative officer, a role which industry veteran Jalil Sadool will now assume. Gilman and Sadool are swapping roles to further the mission and vision of the studio.

The dynamic duo who have been best friends for over 15 years, have worked together for several years and balance each other’s strengths and weaknesses in a profound way. Gilman expresses his excitement for the new role, “Jalil and I share such a deep respect for each other through our friendship and our working relationship. It’s truly an honor to work alongside him as we continue to build the future of Steamroller. The growth, culture, and environment that Jalil has been able to build in such a short time have been nothing shy of amazing and I look forward to continuing to drive our collective vision forward.”

Sadool adds, “The growth of our once little studio has been one of our proudest accomplishments. Our team, our culture, and our work have grown into something I never dreamed of. Aaron’s vision and finely tuned leadership skills will help take Steamroller to the next level and will continue to nurture and grow the people that make this studio so special. I’m incredibly excited to work alongside Aaron in a more creative role as we develop and share our own stories.”

Gilman and Sadool will continue to work closely side by side, to ensure a smooth transition.

Steamroller is currently producing their own IPs and will be releasing the video game Curse Of The Deadwood this coming summer.
