The North Pole is here or rather the North Polar Bear is here! The trailer for the upcoming animated feature film Norm of the North released on 25 November, 2015. Right from the Arctic, the film is an adventure coupled with hilarious punches as it delivers a deep sensitive message with a hint of homour.
Directed by Trevor Wall and written by Jack Donaldson and Derek Elliot, the film is produced by Splash Entertainment and distributed by Lionsgate. The film divulges the protagonist Arctic Bear named ‘Norm’ with his gang of Lemming friends who end up in the vast city of New York. Definitely, how will a busy metropolitan hub like New York, which is professionally over developed, react to these creatures? And firstly, why has the Arctic Monster left his habitat to enter into the weird environment? (Anyone thinking of DreamWorks’ Madagascar here?)
With little lemmings around the Arctic Bear, the film seems to be a mischievous adventure speculating a crisis that may create either a ruckus or a salvation of the animal life.
The film features the voices of Rob Schneider, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, Gabriel Iglesias, Loretta Devine, Michael McElhatton, Colm Meaney and Bill Nighy. It is is set to hit theatres on 15 January, 2016.
