Eventus International has recently announced that SPiCE India 2020 has been rescheduled from 26 August to 28 August this year. The third annual edition of SPiCE India will be held at the same venue as was booked for the event’s old dates in March, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa, India.
Event will have pre and post-event parties, the SPiCE award ceremony, poker tournaments, and discussions and presentations on the industry by renowned speakers.

A Pre-SPiCE India Webinar was held on 17 March, when speakers Nishith Desai Associates co-head Media Entertainment & Gaming Practice Ranjana Adhikari; Krida Legal managing partner Vidushpat Singhania ; All India Gaming Federation CEO Roland Landers; and OneBlock Technologies CEO, Albert Climent spoke about the effects of COVID-19’s spread on the industry, opportunities in esports, and how betting may be regulated in India through the court route, among other important topics concerning the gaming industry.
However, due to travel bans imposed in India due to the impact of COVID-19, Eventus International announced postponement of the event.
SPiCE India Awards final nominees were announced before postponement of the event. The categories for the awards include Skill Gaming Operator of the Year (Non-Fantasy), Poker Operator of the Year, Emerging Startup of the Year, Fantasy Gaming Operator of the Year, Technology Provider of the Year, Affiliate Platform of the Year, Developer of the Year, Legal Adviser of the Year, and SPiCE Speaker of the Year.
