Sony Pictures Animation seems to be on a joy giving spree to all its fans with Hotel Transylvania 2‘s recent release worldwide and now with the grand unexpected announcement that the team will return to enthrall audiences once again in Hotel Transylvania 3 come 2018. The third part of the much in flavour spooky movie, Hotel Transylvania is set for a 21 September, 2018 release.
Though Sony Pictures hasn’t let the cat out of the bag completely yet; since the voice cast for this movie is something the audiences still have to keep guessing. The second film featured the voice talents of Adam Sandler, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, Jon Lovitz, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher and Mel Brooks. Tartakovsky has however stated that he probably won’t be portraying the role of a director for the series third instalment.
The original Hotel Transylvania that released in 2012 was directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of hit animated series like “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Samurai Jack,” grossed more than $350 million at the worldwide box office. The sequel, that recently-released internationally on 25 September; Hotel Transylvania 2 raised the bar for the series and has already grossed $373.6 million worldwide. This movie that saw Mavis (Gomez) and Jonathan (Samberg) married and having their first baby was positioned at number four at the domestic box office in the US this week, despite being in its sixth week of release internationally.
With Warner Bros’ Scooby Doo also releasing on the same date; this clash of titans in the kid’s space is only great news for audiences across the globe.
Hotel Transylvania 2 is all set for its India release on 6th November.
