Rovio flings ‘Angry Birds Under Pigstruction’ on Canadian App Store

Angry Birds is going to be back again in its original avatar after a few games with changed mechanics. The birds have come a long way since the company launched the first game five years ago. Since the game has seen many changes and different gameplay styles coming in with every new Angry Birds game from the company.

Pigstruction has more or less the same as the previous Birds’ games but just enough tweaks and twists to get players addicted all over again. The game’s graphical overhaul can be seen from how the pigs animation is very charming as compared to what it was initially. Colours are sharper and more vibrant, and everything just has a lot more detail to it. In other words it looks like Angry Birds got a makeover.

There’s also a set of new spells to help you with particularly tough stages. Gameplay seemingly remains the same, with all but a couple of tweaks. Don’t worry, you’re still flinging birds at buildings, it’s just that there’s been a few changes to keep things interesting. One of the biggest changes to gameplay is that you now choose the order in which you use your birds. In previous titles they would wait for you in a single file – now you have to develop your strategy accordingly.

Multi-Stage levels are also one of the new features introduced in Angry Birds Under Pigstruction. As you’re downing the piggies, the next set of pigs will build additional parts of the levels to better defend themselves. That will certainly make things a bit more difficult, but Rovio the bird selection and spells will help things even out.
