Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan may have gone uncharacteristically smaller in his latest release Zero, but the impression that his sassy-yet-simpatico ‘Baua’ character has left on the fans is impressively huge .
What is also startling is the work of visual effects gone into the making, and in the VFX breakdown clip released by Red Chillies Entertainment, fans can catch a glimpse of some intriguing behind-the-scenes moment that reveal how a diminutive version of SRK was brought to life.
Featuring interviews with the man himself along with Anushka Sharma and Red Chillies VFX supervisor Harry Hingorani and VFX producer Keitan Yadav, the six-and-a-half minute long clip reveals some of the travails that the crew had to go through during the shoots, such as filming the same scene as many as four different times, whilst also the intriguing Lego-like arrangement on-set.
As many as 600 VFX artists from Red Chillies – and 1600 in all – came together to create ‘Baua’ as the post-production team walked the extra mile to pull off something seldom seen before in Bollywood.
Without further ado, catch the making here:
Directed by Anand L Rai, Zero is now running in theatres.
