Production house Drishyam Films has launched its post-production studio named Drishyam VFX. Drishyam Films have been known to produce films like Ankhon Dekhi, Dhanak, X and Masaan which have provided a unique approach to the mainstream Indian cinema. And now with the VFX wing, definitely we can hope to witness a unique display on screen with innovations and visual creativity.
The work of Drishyam VFX can be well seen in their first venture Fitoor. A production of UTV Motion Pictures, the trailer of the film discloses few shots of blasts, snow and fire where you can note the visual effects.
The director of cult films like Kai Po Che, Rock On and the upcoming Fitoor, Abhishek Kapoor says that he is very excited to work with Drishyam VFX for Fitoor. The visual effects provided by the Drishyam team match the best in international post production studios, which the audiences will see for themselves.
Drishyam VFX has been set up with a vision to establish a globally recognised post-production studio with VFX as its key highlight. Having recruited the best of technical and creative skill from the industry, Drishyam VFX has already locked deals of several highly-anticipated tent-pole Bollywood films. The new vertical will be headed by Rajeev Kumar who will be reporting to Drishyam Films, CEO Shiladitya Bora, .
In due course of time, Drishyam VFX will offer every service related to VFX and Animation and they plan to broaden their strengths in designing motion graphics, title sequences and concept arts.
Their forte includes Special particle effects (dynamics) such as fire, water, smoke, fog, snow, explosions, blood, dust and debris simulations. From offering services such as prep work (chroma keying) to VFX compositing, cosmetic fixes, 2D to 3D conversion, 3D real estate walkthroughs and 3D CGI services, Drishyam VFX plans to be a one-stop-shop for the Indian film industry’s VFX and animation needs.
