Pokkt, an alternate mobile monetization platform in India and Southeast Asia, has raised close to $5 million from its existing and new investors. With the raised investment the company plans to strengthen its technology & product along with enhancing their team so as to grow sales and revenues in the region.
In July 2014, the company had raised an amount of $2.5 million in Series A from JAFCO Asia, SingTel Innov8, Jungle Ventures and K Ganesh. The new investors that participated include Segnel Venture, Shinji Kimura and Sundar Chanrai.
Founded in 2012 Pokkt helps Gaming App Publishers in India & SEA monetize through in-app rewarded Video Ads. Pokkt SDK is integrated with more than 150 game developers in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines & Vietnam and brands in the region to deliver targeted Mobile Video Ads.
Pokkt, founder and CEO, Rohit Sharma said, “In the Mobile Apps ecosystem, gaming is by far the biggest category in terms of consumption & engagement. A 25 people strong tech team in Bangalore, the company’s automation platform uses market data science and predictive analytics to drive deeper engagement and optimized revenue from every user. With the total team strength of 70 people, the company has offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bangkok, Singapore & Jakarta.
