The two friends cum Pixar employees, Andrew Coats and Lou Hamou-Lhadj, who had initially met while studying Film at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, have finally released the first trailer of ‘Borrowed time’, their first animated movie.
Coats has worked at Pixar as a character artist on WALL•E, Toy Story 3 and the upcoming film The Good Dinosaur while after working at Blue Sky Studios ,Hamou-Lhadj also joined Pixar to work on Cars 2, Brave, Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. The reunion of the two buddies at Pixar boosted them to work over their resolution they had made during their college days. These two fine and creative personalities then made the most of their free time after work at Pixar for the accomplishment of their dream. This dedication and perseverance gave birth to ‘Borrowed Time’.
The official synopsis:-
A weathered Sheriff returns to the remains of an accident he has spent a lifetime trying to forget. With each step forward, the memories come flooding back. Faced with his mistake once again, he must find the strength to carry on.
The movie that took 5 long years in the making is all set in the Old West about an aged-old Sheriff.
The music is written and performed by Gustavo Santaolall who is best known for his work in Brokeback Mountain and Babel that alsowon him an Academy Award for Best Original Score. With Amanda Deering Jones being the producer who in the past has worked for both DreamWorks Animation and Pixar Animation and all such fine minds at the backstage, there is definitely alot to expect from the movie.
