The Good Dinosaur

An emotional story revolving around two ‘different yet similar friends’, Arlo a dinosaur and Spot, a boy on their journey of self-discovery and friendship is what The Good Dinosaur will portray to the audiences. The movie that is directed by Peter Sohn shall come across your nearest theatres on 25 November this year. At the D23 expo, a few extended glimpses into the unlikely but very special friendship storyline were showcased.

Here’s what we learned about The Good Dinosaur. The film introduces audiences to Arlo, a sheltered Apatosaurus who finds himself far from home, and Spot, Arlo’s human friend. The story is of a role reversal, what that means? Well you will have to find that out for yourself come 25 November.

Finding Dory

Remember dory… the cute chirpy amnesiac blue fish?! Disney this time has finally come up with an entire movie just revolving around her life in ‘Finding Dory’. This shall be a sequel to the superhit flick, ‘Finding Nemo’.

The movie shall see the overly-optimistic Dory reunite with Nemo and Marlin (voice by Albert Brooks), on a search for answers about her past and where her parents are. Ultimately, it is a journey for Dory to learn to accept herself and her flaws. The original dealt with an emotionally open-ended issue revolving around where Dory’s family was, made every viewer wonder if she could ever get to reunite with her folks considering her short-term memory loss.

Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy will be the voices of Dory’s parents. The movie shall be directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding NemoWall-E), and co-directed by Angus MacLane (Toy Story of Terror) and produced by Lindsey Collins (Wall-E). Dory’s search for her family allowed the filmmakers the opportunity to travel to very different locations, on land and sea, and to bring a variety of new sea creatures that expand her world, including Hank, a cantankerous octopus (voiced by Ed O’Neill), Bailey, a misguided beluga whale (voiced by Ty Burrell) and Destiny, a kind-hearted whale shark (voiced by Kaitlin Olson). The movie shall hit theatres on 17 June 2016.
