The Avatar is back, Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, the next animated series in the Avatar Legends universe, while revealing the rollout for its first book.
Book one will premiere globally with three episodes on 9 October. Episodes four to six will follow on 16 October, episodes seven to nine on 23 October, and the final four episodes, 10 to 13, on 30 October. Details about book two will be announced at a later date.
Running for 26 half-hour episodes across two books, Avatar: Seven Havens comes from Avatar: The Last Airbender co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios are producing the series, which was greenlit by Nickelodeon in February 2025. Paramount+ announced the 9 October premiere at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
This time, the world is anything but balanced. Following a devastating cataclysm, Avatar: Seven Havens centres on Pavi, a young earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar after Korra. But in this fractured and dangerous world, the title no longer makes her humanity’s saviour, it marks her as its destroyer.
Hunted by human and spirit enemies alike, Pavi must join forces with her long-lost twin, Nisha. Together, they must uncover the mystery of their origins and protect the Seven Havens, the last remaining strongholds of civilisation, before they too crumble.
Saheli Khan voices Pavi, with Aishu Devan as Nisha, Akshay Khanna as Karthik, Major Curda as Jae, Sakina Jaffrey as Agam, Darren Barnet as Daemin, Dianne Doan as Zi, and Dee Bradley Baker as Geet and Ruhi.
DiMartino and Konietzko executive produce alongside Ethan Spaulding, while Sehaj Sethi serves as co-executive producer.
With a new Avatar, a shattered world and a destiny that looks more like a death sentence, Seven Havens is flipping the franchise’s familiar formula on its head. The balance has been broken; now Pavi has to find a way to put it back together.
