Olivia Munn has hopped aboard ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ and is set to fill the shoes of Betsy Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke.
Bryan Singer, who’s directing the film from a script by Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, took to Instagram to share the news.
The 34-year-old actress joins previously announced newcomer Lana Condor, who’s be playing Jubilee, and returning stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and Rose Byrne.
The character Psylocke had made her first appearance in the comic books in 1976, and had a minor appearance in 2006’s ‘X-Men: The Last Stand,’ where she was played by Mei Melancon. Her powers include telepathy and telekinesis, among others.
The film, which will see Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique for the last time, as the tent pole will hit theatres in May 2016.
