Indian card game development company famous for its Teen Patti game, Octro has now launched the game in 3 regional Indian languages, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. This move has been initiated keeping in mind the need of the regional users who find a comfort level playing the game in their own language. Since they form a huge percentage of the user base with 30 Million plus registered users, they now expect the numbers to increase exponentially amongst the Hindi, Marathi and Gujrati speaking community.
“Gaming is instantly associated with card games in these regions since it creates an atmosphere of togetherness and merriment and they are played on a regular basis, not just during festivals”, says founder and CEO, Saurabh Aggarwal, Octro. He further added, “Due to the popularity of our games in these regions, we have been receiving constant feedback from our users requesting us to release the game in regional Indian languages. It has been our top priority to keep our users preferences in mind and this prompted us to launch the game in Gujarati and Marathi besides Hindi.”
India is now strongly growing as a smartphone market with more than 300 million strong user base. India has hundreds of languages, Hindi is more often spoken as the first language along with English. Localising the mobile app in language of that region will give publishers better targeted results for the apps.
