NVIDIA has unveiled its next generation of NVIDIA Quadro GPUs in India – providing new tools and technologies to meet the visual computing needs of the world’s leading designers, artists and scientists.
“With the ability to work with more complex models and higher-resolution images, incorporate resources in the cloud, and access work remotely, often on mobile devices, Quadro is truly at the center of new visual computing workflows,” said Vishal Dhupar, MD – South Asia at NVIDIA.
The new lineup delivers an enterprise-grade visual computing platform with up to twice the application performance and data-handling capability of the previous generation. It reflects NVIDIA’s extensive work with leading customers across industries to gain greater insight into their growing requirements to work with more complex models and higher-resolution images; to incorporate cloud-based resources; and to access work remotely, often on mobile devices.
“There is a ‘systematic chaos’ which occurs in the post-production industry in India. A chaos created by hurdles such as low budgets and last minute changes requested by our clients. To create the exact look our customers demand, we depend on robust solutions like NVIDIA Quadro GPUs,” expounded Raakesh Parekh, CEO, After. “The next-gen Quadro GPUs makes the entire process faster, efficient and almost real-time – allowing more time and flexibility for our creative teams.”
NVIDIA Quadro GPUs are already the overwhelming choice of leading creative and design professionals, who depend on it for their most important work. For the past six years running, every film nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects was made with Quadro technology. And Quadro is the choice of essentially every automotive designer worldwide.
“In the near future, special projects will demand 4K, Stereoscopic, 10 bit, 120- FPS, just to try and replicate nature’s complex beauty, virtually. That’s a humongous number crunching. This is why we decided to work with the NVIDIA Quadro range of solutions for visual workplaces and were delighted with the results” added Arul Moorthy, MD, Digital Magic Visuals.
