Apart from appreciating the talent in the gaming industry, The Game Awards also had a lot of trailers releases for the anticipated games which will see release next year. Leading the pack was the Nathan Drake saga – Uncharted 4. Along with this, narrative rich studio Telltale also announced that it was working on the next caped crusader game. The studio which is known for its episodic games like The Wolf Among Us, Game of Throne, Tales from the Borderlands and The Walking Dead series. Apart from Batman, the studio is also working on the Walking Dead spin-off The Walking Dead: Michonne . Ubisoft also released an extended trailer of Far Cry Primal revealing much more details about the gameplay and how animals will play an important part throughout the game. Basketball Legend Shaquille O’Neal (Shaq) is also getting a game in Shaq Fu – A Legend Reborn, 16-bit brawler in true Shaq style.

Oculus also announced that music video game series Rock Band will be available on Oculus VR and one can experience what feels like to play the guitar on the stage and get the rockstar experience right at your drawing room. Vehicle soccer game Rocket League makes its debut on Xbox One next year. The game has been a rage ever since it’s release in July this year and also won the best award for the Best Sports /Racing category. Xbox exclusive Quantum Break too made an appearance at the awards. The third person shooter developed Remedy Studios, and has been in the working since 2013. Another fine game from Double Fine Productions, Psychonauts 2 is the sequel to platformer of the same name which came out in 2005. Currently in crowd-funding, the game is set to release in 2018.

The remastered version of 2009 successful game Shadow Complex too was revealed. With much better graphics and improved gameplay, the game has hit the stores on Windows platform. The dates for the PS4 and Xbox One are still to be revealed. Where the Water tastes like Wine, a beautiful artsy game brought to life by Dim Bulb Games, a studio founded by ex Gone Home and Bioshock 2 developer Johnnemann Nordhagen. The game will combine 2D illustrations with a 3D overworld US map. Last of the lot Star Citizen 2.0 is developed by Cloud Imperium Games, a multiplayer first person space combat improves on its first iteration with new flight modes, control travel and motion control system.
