A new game in the Need for Speed franchise titled Need for Speed: No Limits is being developed by the Real Racing Series developers Firemonkeys, who also have made the mobile mod for the Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
The game will be available in 2015 across the Android and iOS devices in 2015, and Electronics Art has been very vocal about the power of the mobile devices and the new tablets pack and deliver.
“We’ve built No Limits from the ground up to deliver the insanely-fast driving and incredible graphics that fans have come to expect from Need for Speed – all in the palm of your hand,” executive producer Robert Huebner wrote in a new EA blog post.
“The team at Firemonkeys has also been bringing Need for Speed to mobile gamers for years, and it’s an honor and a privilege to once again get behind the wheel of this incredible franchise and redefine street racing on mobile,” he added.
The Real Racing 3 was one of the most frustrating experience in terms of the gameplay and a lot of the game was dependent on the freemium model of the revenue system with a lot of the game advancement dependent on the upgrades you had to buy in game.
Hope this time around, EA puts things right because the brand name of Need for Speed is at stake.
