Nat Geo Kids, one of the predominant kid-focused broadcasters in Latin America, has licensed a trio of series from 9 Story Distribution International in advance of MipCancun, taking place in Mexico from 14 to 16 November 2018.
Among the lineup of titles licensed are brand-new animated series Let’s Go Luna! (79 x 11’), The Diary of Bita & Cora (26 x 5’) along with third and fourth seasons of Finding Stuff Out (26 x 22’). The deal covers broadcast rights for Latin America, including Brazil and the Caribbean.
Produced by 9 Story Media Group’s Brown Bag Films, Let’s Go Luna! follows the adventures of friends Leo, an Australian wombat, Mexican butterfly Carmen and Andy, a frog from the U.S. as they travel the globe with their parents’ performance troupe Circo Fabuloso. The series is aimed at four to seven year olds.
The Diary of Bita & Cora, from TV ON Producciones, is an animated series for kids aged four to eight. The series features best friends/galactic explorers Bita and Cora who crash land on a strange and wonderful new planet, Pruna. Like all great space adventures, they embark on a journey of discovery to find out everything they can about their fascinating new world.
Produced by Apartment 11, Finding Stuff Out is a lively science-oriented series for kids six to 11, which instead of imposing adult notions on kids about what they should know, gives them what they want: answers to the questions that matter to them the most!
